Why choose this set
Designed for better oil pastel resultsLock in Your Vision
Don't let hours of hard work vanish with a single touch. Kuelox Fixative creates a delicate, protective layer that anchors your charcoal or pencil particles to the paper, making your sketches smudge-proof and durable.
Preserve the Original Texture
Many sprays leave a glossy or yellowish residue, but not Kuelox. Our formula is designed to be invisible. It secures your medium while maintaining the raw, matte texture of the paper and the original depth of your shadows.
Defy Time and Oxidation
Protect your art from environmental damage. This fixative acts as a shield against air and light, significantly slowing down the oxidation and fading process. Perfect for artists who want to archive their portfolios or frame their work.
The Trusted Choice
Non-toxic and reliable, Kuelox is a staple in art studios and classrooms. While it contains compressed gas and has a characteristic scent during application (use in a ventilated area), it is formulated to be safe and effective for daily creative use.
Frequently asked questions
Which fixative should I choose?
We offer two fixatives for different artwork types. The Oil Pastel Fixative is designed specifically for finished oil pastel artwork and helps reduce smudging, sticking, and color transfer. The Drawing Fixative is suitable for dry media such as graphite, charcoal, and sketch work.
Will it change the color of my artwork?
It creates a transparent protective layer. As with any fixative, we recommend testing on a small sample first, especially for heavy layers or delicate colors
How long does it take to dry?
It usually dries in about 20 minutes under normal conditions. Drying time may vary depending on spray amount, humidity, and paper surface
How should I apply it?
Spray evenly in a well-ventilated area, keeping a proper distance from the artwork. Apply light coats rather than one heavy coat for a cleaner finish.
How long can one 320ml bottle last?
A 320ml bottle can be used for dozens of small to medium oil pastel artworks, depending on artwork size and the number of coats applied.
